Confirming
Your Faith

Confirmation is about a lifelong faith in Jesus, not graduation from church. Together we learn to know Christ, confess the Christian faith, receive His gifts, and live as His disciples.

What Is Lutheran Confirmation?

Christian instruction for a life of receiving and confessing.

Confirmation is Christian instruction centered in Holy Scripture and Luther's Small Catechism.

It prepares baptized Christians to know Christ, confess the faith, receive His gifts, and continue living as disciples. It is not a new sacrament, the completion of Baptism, or a finish line for Christian learning.

Confirmation at South Lake Church

Four resources, one center.

Every session brings the same trusted resources into conversation. Scripture speaks, the Small Catechism confesses, and students and families keep asking what these teachings mean for faith and life.

The question we keep asking

“What does this teaching show us about Jesus, and what is Jesus giving us here?”
